First4Lawyers team challenge supporting Sport Relief 2020

It’s game on as Sport Relief returns for 2020. Taking place from Monday 9th March, the week will culminate in BBC’s Sport Relief telethon live from MediaCityUK on Friday 13th March, hosted by some of the best-loved names from the worlds of sport and entertainment.

This year, the First4Lawyers team will be donning their finest sports gear and ‘getting on their bikes’ for a sport relief challenge like no other. On Friday, the team will come together and go the extra mile to cycle 110 miles - the length of the M62 motorway - on exercise bikes kindly provided by JD Gyms in Huddersfield.

The week-long charitable campaign is aimed at bringing people together from across all backgrounds and abilities to support and raise money for life-changing projects. The funds raised are used by Comic Relief to support some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and around the world and help tackle major issues including mental health, domestic abuse, homelessness and child poverty.

Andy Cullwick, First4Lawyers’ head of marketing, says: “The team is excited to be playing their part in this year’s Sport Relief campaign and raising funds for a very worthy cause. Sport has a great ability to bring people together and we’re all looking forward to cheering each other on during Friday’s mammoth bike ride and make it all the way to the finish line to achieve our fundraising target.”

The team will be posting regular updates on the First4Lawyers Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn channels using the hashtag #cyclem62, so you can keep up to date with their progress and the money they raise via JustGiving!
